Warwickshire Junior Academy.

Warwickshire’s Junior Academy are kicking off their 2012 programme with a training day, to be held on Friday 17^th February. The session will be conducted by Marie Edgar, and will take place using her facilities at Leek Wootton.

 

Development Officer Chris Shaw said, “Junior Academies are a fantastic way for young riders to meet with each other, receive expert Coaching and take part in a varied range of activities including social events and forum sessions on a wide variety of subjects.” “In addition, the NAF 5 Star Training Awards that operate via the Junior Academies provide the basis for developing skills and knowledge in aspects of horse care, stable management and riding – with a recognised award to aim for”.

In addition, the Academy will shortly be running a First Aid Course, the cost of which will be subsidised for Academy Members. Again, further details are available from Julie.
