Dodson & Horrell 95cm and 1.10m National Amateur Second Rounds at Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre

The Dodson & Horrell 95cm and 1.10m National Amateur Second Rounds continued this weekend at Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre in Warwickshire, with riders aiming for the popular Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Championships at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool on 13 – 18 November 2018.

Dodson & Horrell 95cm National Amateur Second Round

Hannah Cole from Hitchin, Hertfordshire secured the top spot in the Dodson & Horrell 95cm National Amateur Second Round by outpacing her rivals aboard Billy Lime.

Twenty of the twenty nine starters accessed the jump-off with first round clears and it was all about the clock as eleven combinations posted double clears. Hannah came out on top with her own 12 year-old bay mare, Billy Lime who beat her rivals by 0.96 seconds.

Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round

Georgina Ellis used her racing background to speed to victory in the Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round with Fireball X, an 8 year-old KWPN grey gelding, who she has competed for just over a year.

Nine from the eighteen starters made it into the jump off but none could match the time of Georgina from Rugby, Warwickshire who posted her winning round three seconds faster than her opponents.
