Long-term British Showjumping Member Arwyn John holds the distiction of having succeeded in the sport across an amazing seven decades. Steve Lynch, Arwyn's Area Representative reports : "Congratulations to Arwyn who won the 1.0m Grand Prix at Hand Equestrian Centre over the New Year. Arwyn, now in his late 70's, has been a great supporter of Area 35 show jumping over many years and still competes regularly. (Those of you with long memories will remember that Arwyn won the prestigious FOXHUNTER Championship at the Horse of the Year Show in London in 1958). Look out for an interview with Arwyn in next week's Horse and Hound. Well done Arwyn and long may you continue to grace the sport of show jumping".
