Denbighshire’s Louise Edwards is in the running for a place in the RoR Bronze League Finals
Thursday 13 July 2017
Louise Edwards from Llanferres, Denbighshire, Wales, is currently in fifth place in the Retraining of Racehorses (ROR) Bronze League with 68 points. Riding her 9yo mare, My Mate Al, or Tally as she’s known at home. This pair have shown consistency and are looking forward to a long future together.
Louise originally had Tally on loan two years ago and when the loan period came to an end was sad to see her go, so earlier this year when she was offered for sale Louise jumped at the chance to buy her, ‘It was great timing as my other horse was off with a tendon injury, I knew Tally and knew we got on really well’. Louise and Tally have qualified for the Scope Festival in August and are Team Jumping this weekend and with the season drawing to a close we may see them at the Championships next month.
The Championship will take place at the British Showjumping National Championships at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire (8th – 13th August 2017).
