Ivybridge’s Lindsay Lane dominates in British Showjumping’s South West Senior Club League Tables
Saturday 27 January 2018
Lindsay Lane from Ivybridge, Devon, leads in both the 70cm and 80cm South West Region Senior Club Leagues. The British Showjumping Club League offers riders the opportunity to compete in class heights of 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1.00m with an aim of qualifying for the British Showjumping National Championships, which take place at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire later on this summer.
Riding her 21 year old gelding Ringo V, Lindsay is pleased with their progress so far this season. Lindsay has owned Ringo V for 15 years and describes him as a ‘Super old chap’. Their goals this season are to continue having fun and with this in mind Lindsay says; “This is our last year of competitive jumping as he will be 22 years old in the spring, so to win the league would be an amazing way to finish”.
To qualify for the Championships, competitors need to sit within the top twenty riders in their league. They will then receive an invitation to join the top twenty from each of the other seven regions to compete at the prestigious British Showjumping National Championships.
