Girls Accumulate top marks to win Verdon Grey showjumping

St. James’s Place Wealth Management Barbury International Eventing and Show 4-7 July 2013
Three British showjumping classes featured on the Saturday and Sunday for the first time at this years St James's Place Wealth Management Barbury International Eventing and Show. The Saracens Horse Feeds Grand Prix (Saturday), The Verdon Grey Top Score (Saturday) and the Verdon Grey Accumulator (Sunday) with £4,500 in prize money up for grabs across them.
A stellar line up of horses and riders featured including Tina Fletcher's Hickstead Derby winner Promised Land who was brought out of retirement for the occasion and finished third in the Sarcen's Horse Feed Grand Prix on the Saturday, with Mark Edwards riding Mammas Tinker in first. Fletcher turned up the heat on Sunday with Hello Annie, treating spectators to a display of speed and accuracy in the Verdon Grey Accumulator to take first place. Rowan Willis took the honours in the Verdon Grey Top Score with his striking grey Wellington Beowulf.
