South East Officials Training
Friday 21 February 2014
Keith Bristow and Jane Twemlow, have organised an Officials Training Day on the 28th of February 2014. The day is due to start at 1pm and will take place at the Royal Leisure Centre in Henfield, Sussex.
The aim of the day is to help train and educate Officials in how to walk a course and also how to operate and setup the timing equipment. Both of these training aims are very relevant in our Officials development, as timing issues cause a number of complaints from competitors at shows. Judges also take responsibility of the course from the Course Designer when it is built, so understanding distances and striding is also very important.
Both Jane and Keith are excellent officials, and any experience gained from these two would be of vast benefit for the individual concerned.
If you are interested in attending, or to book your place on the day, can I please ask you to contact Tasha Sewell direct on either Tasha.Sewell@BritishShowjumping.co.uk or 07584 706464? Please note, there will be a £5 fee, payable on the day for attending this training.
