Olympic Volunteers support - Horsescotland

As London 2012 draws nearer, the Wave of Friendship funding programme organised by Volunteer Development Scotland (VDS) has seen a significant increase in people applying for grants to support their volunteering roles at the Olympic Games.

Grants of up to £500 can be awarded through the scheme to cover out of pocket expenses – food, travel or accommodation – incurred by people travelling from Scotland to volunteer at the Games.

Applications for Wave of Friendship funding can still be made through the website People Making Waves
