Natalie Devlin Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round at Muirmill Equestrian Centre

The Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Second Rounds held at Muirmill Equestrian Centre in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire saw accomplished combinations coming forward to compete across the 1.05m and 1.10m classes.

With qualification for the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Championships held at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool during the 14th – 19th November in each of the riders sights, these two second rounds proved to be fiercely contested.

Natalie Devlin from Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire fought off a skilled field to claim first place. In the four horse jump off Natalie rode her 10-year-old bay mare, Coulter Candy to a confident double clear as they crossed the finish line in 42.87 seconds.

Building on her earlier win, Kirstie Boyd from Kilbirnie, Ayrshire went on to claim her second qualification place of the day on board her 11-year-old bay mare Elle Clover. This partnership secured a double clear in 43.45 seconds.

Third place went to Michael Smith from Galston, Ayrshire riding his 11-year-old bay mare Thornwood Vision. This pair stopped the clock with a double clear in 43.79 seconds.
