horsescotland coach mentor programme
Tuesday 29 August 2017
horsescotland are holding a coach mentor programme.
The aim of the programme is to select between 10-12 coaches across the country to up-skill their mentor skills to support coaches in their area.
The programme will be designed with two development days based in the classroom starting on the 4th October at Forthbank Stadium, Stirling 9.30am - 4.30pm, the second date is still to be agreed but will be in early 2018.
The second part of the programme will involve practical days, one which will take place between day one and two of the development days. The practical days will hopefully be more local to the coaches depending on the coaches selected across the country.
horsescotland are looking to setting up more local support for coaches across the country, the coaches selected for the programme will be expected to support new coach mentors and to mentor coaches both through their UKCC Qualification and through their career to introduce a support network more regionally for equestrian coaches.
Applications for this programme are now open and will close on the Friday 1st September 2017, following the application process, if selected for Interview; interviews will take place on Thursday 14th September in the Stirling or Glasgow area.
