FEI Hat Rule
The new FEI Hat Rule came into effect on 1 January 2013. A summary of the rules is available at http://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/international/news/fei-helmet-rule
International Competitors Licence and FEI Registration
As I am sure you are aware, 2012 International Competitors Licences and FEI Horse Registrations expired on the 31st December 2012. All riders representing Great Britain at a show running under FEI Rules (in the UK or overseas) during 2013 will need to renew their Competitors Licence and FEI Registration.
Fees for International Competitors Licences and FEI Registrations are as follows:
Senior, Young Riders, Pony, Junior & Children: £200
Single Event Licence for FEI Shows held in the UK: £25
FEI Horse/Pony Registrations: £25 per horse/pony
From 1st January 2013 all new FEI Horse Registrations now require the animal to be micro chipped with a microchip compatible with ISO 11784 and ISO 11785. All microchip information must also be recorded in the horse's passport.
Please ensure that you complete and return your application in good time before you travel abroad to compete. Any horse/rider competing at an FEI competition without a valid FEI registration will be automatically disqualified. Application forms can be downloaded from the following link: http://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/international-forms.cfm
