British Showjumping’s Team NAF Youth Squads Announced for Opglabbeek Nations Cups

The following squads has been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF in the Children, Junior and Young Rider Nations Cup in Opglabbeek, Belgium. The competitions take place between the 11th – 14th May 2017 at Sentower Park.

Anneliese Aitken, aged 14, from Ayrshire with Zorland, a 13 year-old bay gelding owned by Nanette Aitken

Holly Truelove, aged 13, from Brigg, Lincolnshire with Golly Girl, an 11 year-old chestnut mare owned by Barrie Truelove

Oliver Tuff, aged 14, from Totnes, Devon with Idocus VD Bisschop, a 9 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Beth Tuff

Scarlett Charles, aged 16, from Alton, Hampshire with Sacree Du Rouet, an 11 year-old bay mare owned by Peter Charles MBE

Allana Clutterbuck, aged 16, from Upminster, Essex with Urlevent Du Bary, a 9 year-old bay stallion owned by Susan Evans

Jodie Hall-Mcateer, aged 16, from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire with Coquin De Coquerie Z, an 8 year-old bay stallion owned by Mandy Hall

Bobbie Heath, aged 15, from Nantwich, Cheshire with Venus III, a 15 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Graham Heath

Olivia Poole, aged 18, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire with her own 13 year-old grey gelding Connery III

Taisie De Gruchy, aged 19, from St. Ouen, Jersey with Winner of Picobello Z, a 10 year-old dark bay gelding owned by Lauren De Gruchy

Aimee Jones, aged 20, from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire with Never Last, a 13 year-old dark bay gelding owned by Susan Jones

Bethanie Knight, aged 19, from Southampton, Hampshire with Quenotte, a 9 year-old black gelding owned by Tony Newbery and Fiona Dunning

Theo Simpson, aged 20, from Buckhurst Hill, Essex with Touch of Chilli, a 13 year-old chestnut gelding owned by David Simpson

Beth Vernon, aged 21, from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire with her own 10 year-old bay gelding Lotus

The Children, Junior and Young Rider Nations Cups competitions all take place on Friday 12th May. The Children’s Grand Prix will be on Saturday 13th May whilst the Junior and Young Rider Grand Prix’s will be on Sunday 14th May. The Chef d’Equipe’s accompanying the teams will be Tony Newbery and Clare Whitaker.
