British Showjumping’s Team NAF Youth Squads announced for Fontainebleau Nations Cups

 

The following squads have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF in the Children, Junior and Young Rider Nations Cups in Fontainebleau, France. The competitions take place between the 3rd – 6th May 2018.

Children
Hannah Barker, aged 13, from Northallerton, North Yorkshire with Cartouche II, a 15 year-old bay gelding owned by Ian Barker

Iwan Carpenter, aged 14, from Holywell, Clwyd with Merllyns Chacco B, an 8 year-old bay gelding owned by Amanda Carpenter

Madison Heath, aged 13, from Nantwich, Cheshire with Venus III, a 16 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Graham Heath

Alena Hughes, aged 11, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire with Rainbow VI, a 14 year-old British bred chestnut gelding owned by Victoria Hughes

Megan Li, aged 13, from Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire with Eclips Van Erpekom, a 14 year-old black gelding owned by Alex Li

Paige Wright, aged 13, from Harrogate, North Yorkshire with Veintiuno, an 8 year-old bay gelding owned by Donald Whitaker

Ben Clark, aged 16, from Southampton, Hampshire with either the 9 year-old bay mare Jancovica or the 16 year-old grey gelding Valentino VII, both owned by Kim Clark

Oliver Fletcher, aged 15, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire with Hello Disckoboy D.N., a 10 year old grey gelding owned by Lady Kirkham and Lady Harris

Jodie Hall-Mcateer, aged 17, from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire with either the 9 year-old bay stallion Coquin De Coquerie Z or the 9 year old British bred bay gelding Fantom, both owned by Mandy Hall

Robert Murphy, aged 17, from Preston, Lancashire with either Del Fuego, a 15 year-old bay gelding owned by Eleni Murphy and Catherine Witt or Newbridges Chablis SW, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Stacey Webb

Jack Whitaker, aged 16, from Whatton, Nottinghamshire with either the 8 year-old chestnut stallion Arlo De Blondel or the 9 year-old British bred dark bay gelding El Wee Widge, both owned by Michael Whitaker

James Winter, aged 18, from Chepstow, Gwent with Cosmo Boy, an 11 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Elizabeth Winter

Young Rider
Leonie Aitkenhead, aged 20, from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire with Clane K, an 11 year-old bay mare owned by Beverley Aitkenhead

Will Fletcher, aged 19, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire with Persimmon, a 12 year-old British bred brown gelding owned by Graham Fletcher

Aimee Jones, aged 20, from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire with Lilly 483, a 12 year-old chestnut mare owned by Susan Jones

Christie Pritchard, aged 21, from Holyhead, Gwynedd with either the 13 year-old British bred dark bay gelding Bolton Gate Ben or the 15 year-old bay gelding Waldemar, both owned by Tracy Pritchard

Georgia Tame, aged 20, from Horsham, West Sussex with Cash Up, a 14 year-old bay gelding owned by Team Z7

Emily Ward, aged 18, from Neston, Cheshire with either Millioninmind, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Steven Barnes or Wild Rose II, a 15 year-old bay mare owned by Nick Ward

The Junior and Young Rider Nations Cups competitions take place on Friday 4th May whilst the Children’s Nations Cup will be on Saturday 5th May. The Grand Prix’s will all take place on Sunday 6th May. The Chef d’Equipe’s accompanying the teams will be Tony Newbery and Clare Whitaker.
