WATERFORD EQUESTRIAN SENIOR 2 DAY SHOW - ROUND UP
Monday 29 July 2013
Rain stopped play at the last attempt but Jamie Atkinsons Waterford Equestrian, Langley Park Co Durham finally hosted a two day Senior British Showjumping Show last weekend assisted by Janice and Alan Mewse of JM Equestrian. The last four classes at the last show had to be cancelled due to flooding but were added to this weekends schedule which was a relief to the organisers. The show culminated in a £300 1.30m first prize and the winner receiving the Earl of Durham trophy. Adam Valks riding Emma Fosters Bellisimo took the class in a very exciting jump off by four seconds from Kerstin Deakin and Sunsolde in second and Jess Mcnally with Bowes Corland Cracker in third. The weekend had several other fantastic trophies on offer including JB EQUINE Newcomers won by Francis Moiser on Causey Hearthrob, the Townhead Foxhunter Trophy won by Kerstin Deakin and Anneli, Emmerson Sender riding Krystal Clover took the North East Grade C and Lianne Mcafferty and Nearly Not the Norman Grainger.
Many thanks to all our sponsors at this show including Spillers, JB Equine, Emmerson Sender, The Hill Family and Equine Sports Medicine Clinic.
Waterford Equestrian last show of the summer will be held August 17th-18th with classes from Novice to Open so contact janice 07906468450 for details or visit www.jmequestrian.co.uk
