TWO NEW ‘HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW’ CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES FOR 2014!
Tuesday 01 April 2014
British Showjumping Members* competing between 90cm – 1.30cm will now have the opportunity to qualify for and compete at Horse of The Year Show in October 2014 in one of the two new Championships Finals that have been created.
Commencing on the 1st April there will be a Bronze and Silver League Championship Final, hosted in the prestigious main arena at Horse of the Year Show. The newly launched Championships will enable British Showjumping members to qualify for one of the two Semi Finals held for each of the League Championships at which seven horse/rider combinations will qualify; giving a total of fourteen competitors the chance to contest in their allocated and respective title.
The Championships also offer two routes to qualify for the Semi Finals; either via the traditional Qualifying Class route where three tickets will be allocated or via a performance based route where eligible competitors will be identified via a regional Bronze or Silver League table.
Justine Naylor, National Director of Sport commented “I speak on behalf of the National Sport committee when I say that I’m sure every member competing between these height categories will be delighted to have the chance to compete in a Championship Final at such a significant venue”.
