Sheffield’s Sharon Dick currently tops the British Showjumping Northern Bronze League
Sheffield’s Sharon Dick riding Larrissimo, her 12 year-old gelding, is currently leading the British Showjumping Northern Bronze League with 216 points.
The Bronze League run by British Showjumping offers riders the chance to compete in classes ranging from 85cm to 1.10m. Riders are divided into regional leagues where they can collect league points in order to qualify for the Semi-Finals which lead to the Bronze League Championships at The Horse of The Year Show.
On her success Sharon commented; “He rarely knocks a pole and I’m hoping to qualify for Horse of The Year Show. It’s been a long haul but he rises to the challenge”. Sharon bought Larrissimo as a three year old in poor condition and is very proud of their achievements so far. Describing him she said; “he’s a real character and a loving horse, I’m thankful he walked into my life”.
The Northern region is extremely well represented across riders spanning Sheffield and local areas. For more information on Membership and the Championships in particular please call 0246 698824 or visit; http://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/rankings/leagues/bronze
