NORTHERN RIDERS SELECTED FOR THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SQUADS

Congratulations to Emily Ward and George Whitaker who will be representing Great Britain at the FEI Children, Junior and Young Rider Championships in Magna Racino, Austria between 14th-19th August.
Children
13 year-old Emily Ward from Neston, Cheshire will partner Witch a 9 year-old dark brown mare jointly owned by Michael Whitaker and Nick Ward
Young Riders
20 year-old George Whitaker from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire will partner Sally Mcsharry’s 12 year-old chestnut mare Tubana
The squads will be arriving at the championships on Monday 13th August where they will spend time settling their horses in to the stables prior to the first horse inspections on Tuesday 14th August. Competition starts on Tuesday 14th August for all three age groups with Team medals being decided on Friday 17th and Individual medals on Saturday 18th August.
A total of 47 Nations across Europe have been invited to contest the Championships under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe and Team Coach Corinne Bracken.
