COMPETITION STRUCTURE FOR NATIONAL TEAM JUMPING
 
Maximum of 2 Teams per Area and 4 members per Team. The fourth member of the team is the Team Captain, and together with the Area Rep should select the team. Horses owner or rider must reside within the area in which they are representing. Qualifiers to be held May, June, July or first weekend in August, with a Final at the CUSHIONBED SHOWJUMPING SCOPE FESTIVAL. 
 
TEAM RULES
This Competition is run over Two Rounds under Table A.
 
Teams to consist of :- Four Horses of any grade to be ridden by riders excluding from Rider Ranking List 339 – (See Restrictions below). Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any International Team, (Nations Cup, World European Championships and Olympic Games) are not eligible to be the rider of the 1metre or 1.10 metre horse. Pony riders, children, junior and young riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last 5 years (Including Veteran Teams) are also not eligible to be a rider of the 1 metre or 1.10 metre horse.

In the event of a tie for First place, there will be a Jump Off.  Teams equal first will elect either the 1.20m or 1.25m rider, who will jump the 1.25jump off track against the clock. Lower placings, if required, will be determined by faults and the total time in the second round of the three scoring riders.

SUBSTITUTION RULES.
 
In the Final one horse may be substituted if deemed unfit to compete (Veterinary Certificate must be obtained) The rider of the unfit horse has first option of finding a suitable substitution. Otherwise horse/rider combination can be substituted. Oneother horse/rider substitution will be permitted providing permission is obtained from the original qualifying person.
 
 
BRITISH SHOWJUMPING RULE 82.2 NO MEMBER SHALL ALLOW A STALLION FOR WHICH HE / SHE IS RESPONSIBLE AS OWNER,LEESEE,AUTHORISED AGENT OR RIDER TO COMPETE OR BE PREPARED TO COMPETE IN ANY SHOW JUMPING COMPETITION WITHOUT TAKING ADEQUATE PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE NOT PUT AT ANY RISK.
 
 
ANYONE WISHING TO PAY ENTRIES AT THE END OF THE DAY MUST LEAVE A SIGNED CHEQUE. A SURCHARGE OF 75p.PER CHEQUE TO BE ADDED
 
PRIZE MONEY MUST BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY OR FORFEITED.
 
NO ENTRY REFUNDS TRANSFERS OR SUBSTITUTIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. SEE RULE 79.5
 
RIDERS MUST BE MOUNTED FOR PRIZE GIVING.
 
ENTRIES IN THE ABOVE AFFILIATED CLASSES ARE CONFINED TO PONIES/HORSES REGISTERED WITH BRITISH SHOWJUMPING AND MUST BE RIDDEN BY MEMBERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH BRITISH SHOWJUMPING RULE 77 & 79.
 
IF INSUFFICIENT ENTRIES RULE 76 WILL APPLY AND PRIZES WILL BE WITHHELD.
 
THE ORGANISERS WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACCIDENT,
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO HORSES,RIDERS,SPECTATORS OR THEIR ANIMALS,
VEHICLES OR PROPERTY FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.
 
THE ORGANISER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER,CANCEL CLASSES OR
CHANGE ARENAS AS NECESSARY WITH PRIOR PERMISSION FROM BRITISH SHOWJUMPING.
