Class1 70cm OPEN

For registered ponies to be ridden by Pony/Pony Associate members. Table A7 Speed 325mpm Single fence.

Class 2 Springboard 128/138cm Restricted Handicap 

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: In the 128cms Section Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of ten years is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of £500 notional Winnings. In the 138cms Section Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of twelve is reached. Riders who reach the age 12 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of £850 notional Winnings. Pony Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms Section. Once Riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Table A Two Rounds not against the clock. All equal first in Round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course. Speed 325mpm Height of fences: 128cms 90cms 138cms 1.00m. Two double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is Pony/Rider Combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump off and go clear to gain it’s double clear round qualification. In order to compete in th final all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13

Class 3 Small Pony Open

Open to reg ponies not exceeding 138cms to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate  members ages in accordance with Rule 77.12, 77.13 . Table A7.  Height in first rd  90CM Entry £14 Prizes £25, £22, £17, £14

 

Class  4 Winter 128cm Competition 1st Round 

For registered ponies that have won £30 or more, not exceeding 128cms, ridden by Pony members, age in accordance with Rule 77.13.  Pony riders are not eligible to compete in this competition before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. Rule 514  Table A7    Speed 325mpm    Height of fences 1.05m Two double clears to qualify (subject to revision) Please note that in the event of fewer than 20 starters in classes  4 &  5 both classes will amalgamated and run as a handicap, one set of prize money will then be awarded. Class 5  Winter 138cm Competition 1st Round 

For registered ponies that have won £30 or more, exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms, ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members, age in accordance with Rule 77.12. Pony riders are not eligible to compete in this competition before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. Rule 512 TableA7 Speed 325mpm    Height of fences 1.10m  Two double clears to qualify (subject to revision)  Please note that in the event of fewer than 20 starters in classes 4 & 5 both classes will amalgamated and run as a handicap, one set of prize money will then be awarded. Class 6 The Old School Bamburgh Pony British Novice /80cm OPEN 

For registered JD ponies who have not won a total of £100 ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Rule 410, Table A7, 325mpm.Riders ages riding 128/138 ponies must be in accordance with rules 77.12/77.13 In event of 30 starters or more class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section only. 1st rosette sponsored by The Old School Bamburgh

Class 7 Netley Hall Equestrian Pony Discovery / 90cm OPEN

For reg ponies not to have won a total of £175 in Discovery section.  A7 Rule 408. 325mpm. In event of 30 starters or more class will be split. Ponies may only compete in one section only. Rule 77.12/77.13

Class 8 Blue Chip Feed Balancer Pony Newcomers /1.00m Open            

Both to include the PONY RESTRICTED RIDER QUALFIER. For reg ponies, which have not won a total of £300 (in newcomer section) to be ridden by Pony/Pony Associate members. Table A7, Height in first round 1m. 325mpm. Rule 406.  In the event of 30 starters or more the class will be split. The open section is open to all however those ponies competing in the open or Newcaomer section ridden by pony riders who have not won a total of £500 notional winnings are wligible for double qualfication for the Pony Restricted Rider Championship. Ponies may compete in one section only. Four double clears to qualify.  1st rosette sponsored by Blue Chip .  Entry £14   Prizes   £25, £22, £17, £14

 

Class 9 Squibb Group Pony Foxhunter/1.10m Open    

For reg ponies, which have not won a total of £500. Ridden by Pony or Pony Associate member. A7 Height in first rd 1.10m. Rule 404  325mpm.  In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split. Ponies may compete in one section only.  1st rosette sponsored by Squibb Group. Class 10 148cms and under Restricted Open

For registered ponies not exceeding 148cms. Rule 399 A8 Speed 325mpm Height of fences 1.20m Open to all but for qualification purposes those pony/rider combinations that have been placed in a John Whitaker Winter Classic or Pony Show Jumper of the Year qualifier will not be eligible to compete in the Final, to be held at Wales & West Home Pony Qualifiers must jump clear in the first and second round. 1 double clear to qualify
