Class 1 – Phone Art Stepping Stones 128cm/138cm Handicap Qualifier

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by junior members,ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes. Those Riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached are eligible to enter irrespective of notional winnings. Riders aged 10 years and over on 1st January in the calendar year must not have won a total of £350 Notional Winnings in the 128cms Section and £700 notional winnings in the 138cms Section.128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms Section. Once Riders have qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the final.Height - 75cm = 128cm/85cm =138cm. Speed 325mpm/ Table A Two rounds not against the clock. All Equal first in round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course. In the event of equality the prize money will be divided!

CLASS 2 - The Pure Feed Company Tiny Tots 90cm Championship Qualifier

Open to registered ponies not exceeding 128cms, to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 2004. Speed 325mpm/ Table A Two rounds not against the clock. All Equal first in round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course. In the event of equality the prize money will be divided! Height - 90cms Numbers to qualify: - Two double clears – once rider/pony combinations have qualified for RIHS or HOYS 2014 they are no longer eligible.

Prize money 1st - £25, 2nd - £20, 3rd - £15, 4th £10  & 5th £10

Class 3 - 128/138cms Open

Open to registered ponies not exceeding 128cms, to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 2002 and registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 2000 Pony/Riders are not eligible to compete in this class before the calendar year of which their eighth birthday is reached. SINGLE PHASE, Speed 325mpm  Height of fences: - 128cms – 90cm   138cms – 95cm 

Prize money 1st - £25, 2nd - £20, 3rd - £15, 4th £10  & 5th £10

Entry fee £10

 

CLASS 4 - Graham Heath Construction (128/138cms) (Championship Handicap Qualifier)

Open to registered ponies not exceeding 128cms, to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 2002 and registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members born in or after 2000 Pony/Riders are not eligible to compete in this class before the calendar year of which their eighth birthday is reached. Class 5a - 90cm Open

For registered ponies which have not won a total of £175. Rule 408 Riders ages

competing on 128/138cm ponies in discovery section must be in accordance with rules77.12/77.13 . This class will be split if there are 30 or more starters. Ponies may only compete in one section. Speed  325mpm Table TWO PHASE. Height - 90cm

Prize money 1st - £25, 2nd - £20, 3rd - £15, 4th £10  & 5th £10

CLASS 6 - Panda Bamboo Flooring Pony Progressive Championship Qualifier 2014

CLASS 6A – 1m Open inc The Pony Restricted Rider Qualifier

For registered ponies who have not won a total of 500 Points, to be ridden by Junior members

In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split

Ponies may compete in one section only, the open section is open to all; however those ponies competing in the Open or Newcomer section ridden by junior riders who have not won a total of 500 Points are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider Championship at the Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival 2014

Four double clears to qualify (subject to revision)

First 6 to qualify for Pegasus Equine Pony Progressive Championship 2014 in the Newcomer section qualification will not pass down the line and ponies must jump clear in the first round.

Dual Qualification for the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers

Rule 406 Speed  325mpm Table TWO PHASE. Height of fences: - 1.00m 

Prize money 1st - £25, 2nd - £20, 3rd - £15, 4th £10  & 5th £10

Class 7 - Peace Love World Pony Adventurer Championship Qualifier/1.10m (both to incorporate The Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship)

Eligible Pony/rider: - Open to registered ponies that have not won a total 700 Points, to be ridden by Junior members

Table:: - A7 Rule 404 Speed 325mpm. Height of fences – 1.10m

Numbers to qualify: - First 6 to qualify & qualification will not pass down the line, ponies must jump clear in the first round. Dual Qualification for the Squibb Group Pony Foxhunter

This class will be split if there are 30 or more starters.

The Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Qualifier is for registered juniors who have not won more than £350 notional winnings during 2013.  Two double clears will qualify for The Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship to be held at the Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival 2014.  Qualification is pony/rider combination.

Qualification period: 1st April 2014 – 31st July 2014

Prize money - 1st - £30,  2nd - £20, 3rd -  £17, 4th £13 & 5th £12

Class 8 - Mandy Hall Pony National 1.15m Members Cup Championship Qualifier

Open to registered ponies of any grade, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Once pony/rider combinations have qualified for the Pony Show Jumper of the Year 2014 they are no longer eligible. First 6 to qualify & qualification will not pass down the line, ponies must jump clear in the first round. Rule 400 Speed  325mpm Table TWO PHASE. Height of fences: - 1.15m   

Prize money - 1st - £30,  2nd - £20, 3rd -  £17, 4th £13 & 5th £12

DIRECTIONS TO FRICKLEY HALL

 

Only 10 minutes from the A1.  Please leave the A1 at the A638 exit.

The event will be well signed posted after exiting from the A1 (it will not be signposted on the A1 itself).  Proceed through the village of Hooton Pagnell, turning down the hill in the village towards Clayton.  The entrance to the estate is located on your right hand side approximately 500 yards after leaving Hooton Pagnell, just as the road bends to the left.  Follow the ONE WAY SYSTEM which will be in operation.  You will not be able to enter the estate from the back road in the village of Clayton itself.  The main entrance to the estate MUST be used.

If you are approaching from Barnsley (i.e. from the west), do not allow your sat nav to take you through Barnsley itself. Try to approach the event from the A1

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. All exhibitors and competitors are particularly advised to read these rules and conditions carefully. Entries will only be accepted and competitors allowed to compete on the clear understanding that they agree to comply with and be bound by these rules and conditions

  2. All owners and riders of horses competing in this show shall be deemed subject to the rules and regulations of the British Show jumping (obtainable from British Show jumping) All competitions will be judged under British Show jumping rules

  3. Rule 82.20 No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, or authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure that other members of the public are not put at risk of injury

  4. No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for anything that may happen to the competitors, onlookers or their property, servants or horses in connection with or arising out of these shows. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising there from

  5. The decision of the Judges will be final. If any person lodges an objection, such objection must be made in writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the incident, together with a deposit of £100, to be returned if the objection is upheld

  6. The Organiser retain the right to refuse entry, or to amend the details of the Schedule if the instances of the programme require, and to cancel any class with insufficient entries, British Show jumping Rule 76.6 will be applied

  7. Failure to exhibit any animal entered will entail forfeiture of entry fees, other than in accordance with the British Show jumping Rules

  8. The Organiser reserve the right to remove any vehicle or chattels which are obstructing any access to or on the showground even if locked, secured, unattended and braked and they will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, etc

  9. The Organiser reserve the right to exclude from the meeting or remove from the showground any person or property for any reason and without giving a reason

  10. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times

  11. The Organiser may in any dispute or any other matter act or decide in any manner they think fit

  12. No motorcycles of any description allowed on the showground

  13. Rule 76.6 will apply to classes with insufficient entries to prize money allocation

  14. It is a necessity for your British Show jumping numbers for horses, riders and owners to be filled out on your entry form. Entries will not be accepted unless this information is provided

  15. No unaccompanied horses tied in the lorry park

  16. All riders using the collecting ring must wear appropriate riding attire. Hats must be to the latest BSI specifications

  17. The Organiser of the show jumping event is B&BMH Limited
