Aged 13 – 21 AND WANTING TO START COMPETING AT AN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL?

With support from Sport England, British Showjumping are running an International Experience Programme to assist those young riders making the step into International Competitions. The programme will take place at Chepstow International 1st -5th May an educational programme will be delivered during the show with topics including:
- Course Walks
- FEI Clean Sport/ Doping Workshop
- Travelling horses abroad talk
- Vet talk
- Youth Team Manager and Youth Team Assistant available for advice/questions
As a further incentive to support riders making the step into FEI competition for riders who sign up to the programme at Chepstow British Showjumping will pay the UK Rider License (if required) or 10% of entry fees (maximum £25 per rider).
From the International Experience Programme at Chepstow 8 riders will be selected to attended an FEI competition abroad where there FEI entry fees will be paid (up to £300) along with the support of an on hand coach for the duration of the show to support the riders competing there.
Eligibility for the programme:
· Not previously have been selected to jump on a British Team
Be aged 13 – 21 years old
Must enter the Chepstow 1* or 2*
Be eligible for British Teams
