Well Done to Ben Maher!
Tuesday 06 December 2011
This weekend saw the Paris Gucci Masters competition held in France where British riders brought home some top places.
The show got off to a good start for Hertfordshire based Ben Maher with a win in the CSI5* Prix Le Figaro on Friday. Some top international combinations competed for the top spot with fourteen combinations in the jump off. With faults few and far between the clock decided the winner and it looked like German rider Ludger Beerbaum was set for victory with Chaman completing the jump off in a time of 36.91 seconds. However after a storming round in 36.19 seconds by Ben partnering Quainton Studs and his own 9 year old black gelding Tripple X III Ludger was forced to settle for second place behind the Brit.
