Netley Hall Pony Discovery / 0.90m Open, single fences

For registered ponies, Riders ages competing on 128cm/138cm ponies must be in accordance with Rules 77.12/77.13, Rule 408, Table A7, speed 325mpm, In the event of 15 starters or more this class will be split, ponies may compete in one section only.

Blue Chip Feed Balancer Pony Newcomers/1.00m Open (Both To Inc. The Pony Restricted Rider Qualifier) For registered ponies who have not won a total of £300, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Rule 406, Table A7, Speed 325mpm. In the event of 30 or more starters class will be split. Ponies may compete in one section only. The Open Section is open to all; however  those ponies competing in the Open or the Newcomer Section, ridden by pony riders who have not won a total of £500 notional winnings are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider Championship.  Four double clears (Subject to revision) to qualify for the British Showjumping Scope Festival. Qualifying cut-off date 31st July 2013. First Rosette sponsored by Blue Chip Feed Balancer.

Squibb Demolition Pony Foxhunter – First Round/ 1.10m Open,

For registered ponies, Rule 404, Table A7, speed 325mpm, In the event of 30 or more starters this class will be split, ponies may compete in one section only.

Un-Affiliated Classes - Start at 1:00pm

Classes 6-9 are open to all, unaffiliated, BS members or Club Members of British Showjumping.   Should a non-member gain points, these points may be retained by joining British Showjumping as a Club Member within 7 days of this show.

Horses and Ponies will be split in the Jump-Off.  Classes may be run as single phase.

A levy of £3 will be charged per rider for Medical Cover in accordance with Rule 73.8e

Eligibility for British Showjumping Club membership - For any horse/ rider,  pony/rider combination without a registered result in National Amateur 90cm, British Novice, Pony British Novice, Stepping Stones  and above in the last 3 years. Pony classes are open to any age rider. Children can ride horses from the beginning of the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached (FEI Rules).

The League will run from 1st June 2012 – 31st May 2013. Club league points will be awarded to horse/pony & rider combinations who must be Club Members of the BS to gain the points. Club league points will be awarded as follows – 1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4, 6th = 3.  

3 points will be awarded to all double clear’s including an extra 3 points to prize winners if a double clear has been jumped.

 

 

NORFOLK SHOW JUMPING CLUB RULES AND CONDITIONS

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending Norfolk Show Jumping Club events.  For these measures to be effective everyone present must themselves take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. Instructions given by any Official must be obeyed. Any animal not under control or in any way constituting a danger may be asked to leave the showground. Owners enter their horses/ponies at their own risk, and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to Norfolk Show Jumping Club or the show organisers.

 

  1. All classes to be judged in accordance with British Showjumping rules.
  2. The Judges and Organisers decision is final.
  3. Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted.
  4. Prizes may be limited in accordance with Rule No 76.6.
  5. No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent, or rider to attend a show, compete or prepare to compete, in any Showjumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other horses/ponies, competitors and members of the public are not put at risk of injury. (Rule 82.21)
  6. The Show organisers have the right to cancel any class with less than 3 entries.
  7. Once a class has been entered no refund will be given.
  8. All dogs must be kept on leads and all dog mess cleaned up.
  9. In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be left with the secretary in case of an accident.
  10. Any person who fails to comply with these terms & conditions will be liable to forfeit their fees & expulsion from showground.
