For registered ponies, Riders ages competing on 128cm/138cm ponies must be in accordance with Rules 77.12/77.13, Rule 408, Table A7, speed 325mpm, In the event of 30 starters or more this class will be split, ponies may compete in one section only.

HorseQuest UK Sapphire Championship Qualifier

For registered ponies in grade JD & JC which have not won a total of £300, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Table: A7, Speed: 325mpm, Rule: 406, The first 8 ponies qualify for the final, at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Pony Newcomers first round. Springboard 128CMS/138CMS Restricted Handicap

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. 

This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes:

In the 128cms Section Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of ten years is reached. Riders who reach the age of ten years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of £500 notional Winnings. In the 138cms Section Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of notional winnings, before the calendar year in which the age of twelve is reached. Riders who reach the age of twelve years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of £850 notional Winnings. Pony Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms Section. Once Riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final.
Table A Two Rounds not against the clock.  All equal first in Round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course, Speed 325mpm Height of fences: 128cms 90cms 138cms 1.00m, Two double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is Pony/Rider Combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump off and go clear to gain it’s double clear round qualification

Take Your Own Line – Maximum Height 1.05m – drawn order

For registered ponies, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members, Rule 276, under Table C (time penalties of 4 seconds will be incurred for each knock down).

A levy of £3 will be charged per rider to help towards the cost of Medical Cover

NORFOLK SHOW JUMPING CLUB RULES AND CONDITIONS

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone attending Norfolk Show Jumping Club events.  For these measures to be effective everyone present must themselves take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. Instructions given by any Official must be obeyed. Any animal not under control or in any way constituting a danger may be asked to leave the showground. Owners enter their horses/ponies at their own risk, and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to Norfolk Show Jumping Club or the show organisers.

1.      All classes to be judged in accordance with British Showjumping rules.

2.      The Judges and Organisers decision is final.

3.      Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted.

4.      Prizes may be limited in accordance with Rule No 76.6.

5.      The Show organisers have the right to cancel any class with less than 3 entries.

6.      Once a class has been entered no refund will be given.

7.      All dogs must be kept on leads and all dog mess cleaned up.

8.      In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be left with the secretary in case of an accident.

9.      Any person who fails to comply with these terms & conditions will be liable to forfeit their fees & expulsion from showground.
