dominated The British Showjumping Eastern region Absolute Horse magazine Intro League 2009/2010, which culminated in an exciting awards day on Saturday 13th November at Laura Renwick’s Essex yard. With over 500 riders competing throughout the 8 leagues Ruby Pointer, Amy Zelos, Ruth Gayton, Katy and Charlotte Peasley certainly deserved their awards.
The day was organised by Regional Representative, Julia Biddle and hosted by John and Laura Renwick. The winners enjoyed a lesson with Laura in her fabulous arena with its huge selection of jumps. Val Attenborough assisted with the awards ceremony. Then everyone was thrilled to tour the yard with Laura meeting the stars including Limelight De Breve, Oz De Breve, Parvati and Rollercoaster.
The prize pot included Absolute Horse magazine branded British Showjumping jackets, Equilibrium Products, Tri-Zone tendon and brushing boots, Toggi Team GBR polo shirts, gloves and scarves; Robinson first aid products and a goody bag from NAF.
Publisher Peter Dodd said, “Within Absolute Horse magazine we aim to feature all levels of riders and these talented amateurs are really leading the field. Well done to all who took part.”
Editor Jeanetta La-Four added, “This was a chance in a lifetime to meet and be taught by one of Britain’s leading riders. The winners thoroughly deserved their day as ours was by far the most competitive league in the country.”
