Morgan Kent and Remi Delux win The British Showjumping Business Partnership Winter Novice

Last Saturday saw 23 year old Morgan Kent from Wetherby, West Yorkshire take a trip down to Arena UK, Lincolnshire to compete in the British Showjumping Business Partnership Winter Novice qualifier.

 

With 79 riders all competing for the 2 qualifying places that were on offer Morgan had a tough challenge on her hands. Course Designer Di Boddy built a testing first round, however 32 riders managed to jump clear sending them into the jump off.  Di upped her game by increasing the height and width of the fences and included some tricky turns, which proved too much for some combinations as only 14 out of the 32 managed to jump clear.

 

Morgan riding her own 7 year old dark bay gelding proved too much for the rest of the field as she managed to shave just under a second off second placed Olivia Dales’ time, crowning her the winner.
