Barbizon, France played host to the CSIP (International competitions for Pony Riders) this weekend. With many top classes taking place the show ended with the Pony Grand Prix which saw a first and second for Great Britain.

Making the journey over from Haywards Heath in West Sussex was fourteen year old Amy Inglis. Riding Mandy Hall’s ten year old bay gelding Nils D’Hurl Vent Amy set an outstanding target by jumping double clear in a jump off time of 34.58 seconds which proved to be unbeatable.

In second place was fourteen year old Emily Roe from Lincoln, riding her father’s (Simon) fourteen year old grey gelding Aroldo. Emily was just 0.64 seconds behind Amy jumping another double clear in a jump off time of 35.22 seconds which put her into second place overall.
