Congratulations to Kara Halliday for gaining her NAF British Showjumping 1 Star Performance

Kara from Hertfordshire gained her 1 star NAF Performance award with Candice Williams one of our British Showjumping accredited coaches.
Kara's horse Zorro is a 7 year old KWPN black gelding.He had previously jumped to 110cm level in Holland prior to being imported. He has had some great ground work so she is learning lots from him though he does make her work hard!

Kara has ridden most of her life, but has only become more serious about jumping in the last few years. She started training with Candice Williams in January of this year and is working towards her 5 Star Performance Awards. Kara said that the awards really give you something to focus on and allows you to further your knowledge in a structured way.
They are currently competing at 1 meter level and came 2nd in the 1 meter class at their first affiliated show together. Her goals for the next 12 months are to complete her 5 star performance awards up to and including level 3 and jump Newcomers successfully.
