Cambs/Northants Academy - A Note from Mia Korenika!!

Hope you had a cracking Easter break! Lots of shows going on and we’ve all gone outdoors again hooray J

 

Next academy training will be on Saturday May 5^th at Collin’s Hill Farm, Flore (tbc) from 11am.. Please let me know if you would like to attend.

 

Following that we will be training on June 9^th at Houghton Hall (formerly Manor Farm) near Huntingdon, this is a re-launch of the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire joint academy and we will also be having our pony 5* Performance award standardisation session within this day (for interested coaches, parents and children) so lots going on on this day!

Yes the Pony version of the 5* Performance awards is now available, I’m hoping to get as many of you as possible doing these awards (both for ponies and horses) so please contact me if you would  like more information and expect me to be telling you all about it and showing you the booklets in our  training sessions!

 

We have inter academy and area team events to look forward to too..

Sunday July 1^{st at} Cherry Bee, Hainford, Norfolk is the first team competition for our area (seniors) there is also a competition at Arena UK on 28^th July, we can do both but only qualify at one..

I would like to get teams for both please?

 

We need 4 horse and rider combinations;

 

1 grade C, rider not in top 450, to jump 90cms

1 grade C, rider not in top 450, to jump 1m

1 any grade horse, rider not in top 250, to jump 1.10m

1 any grade horse, rider not in top 150, to jump 1.20m

 

Top 2 teams to qualify for Scope, riders or horses owner must reside in the area they are representing.

 

 

Anyone interested in riding for teams please let me know, I will be watching you in training and at shows, also let me know your results.
