British Showjumping Schedule for Pony Show at Forest Edge on 28 & 29 January 2012

SHOW RULES
 
  1. Forest Edge Arena has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the owners/agents whether written or verbal.
  2. Forest Edge Arena shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant has read and understood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify Forest edge Arena or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident.
  3. No rider under the age of 4 years old permitted.
  4. All entries are on the day & payable at time of booking. All prize money will be paid out on the day.
  5. No refunds will be given once classes are entered.
  6. British Showjumping Rule 76.6 may be applied.
  7. All classes to be judged in accordance with British Showjumping rules.
  8. Judges decision is final.
  9. Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted.
  10. It is recommended that back protectors are worn whilst mounted.
  11. All stallions must be kept under control at all times & not handled by anyone under 14 years. All stallions must have red/white/blue ribbon in tail.
  12. All droppings to be picked up in the indoor & practice arenas and placed in the wheelbarrow provided.
  13. Lorries must not be mucked out onto car park. Please place droppings, hay etc into trailer provided.
  14. No bicycles or motorcycles, except disabled scooters, anywhere on site.
  15. All dogs must be kept on leads and all dog mess cleaned up.
  16. No ball games permitted at any time.
  17. No fires or barbeques at any time on the premises.
  18. No smoking permitted inside stables, buildings or arena premises.
  19. All children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  20. All rubbish/litter to be removed from site or placed in bins provided.
  21. Any person who fails to comply with these terms & conditions will be liable to forfeit their fees & expulsion from site.
  22. In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be left with the secretary in case of an accident.

Class Four Pink Equine Stepping Stones 128cms/138cms Restricted Handicap Qualifier For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12/77.13. Table A Two rounds not against the clock. All equal firsts in round one will go forward to round two over a shortened course. Speed 325mpm Height of fences: 128cms 75cms / 138cms 85cms Riders that have either been placed or qualified in a Winter First Round or HOYS qualifier are not eligible to compete in this class & riders that are subsequently placed or qualified are not eligible to compete in the final. NB If a rider has been placed or qualified in a Winter or HOYS 128cm first round the rider may, the following year, compete on a 138cm pony in the 138cm section providing that the rider does not attend any second rounds (at either height) in the same year, subject to the exclusions above. Two double clears to qualify. Qualification is Pony/Rider combination

Class Nine Equitability Pony Winter Novice Championship Qualifier For reg. ponies in grade JD which have not won a total of £100 to be ridden by Pony or Pony Associate members. Table A7 Speed 325mpm Rule 410. The first 8 ponies qualify for the final to be held at The Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Pony British Novice first Round. First 3 rosettes sponsored by Equitability
