RULES & REGULATIONS
 
 
1.   All classes listed in this schedule will be judged in accordance with the British Showjumping rule book and the affiliated classes are confined to horses registered with British Showjumping and must be owned and ridden by members in accordance with rule 79. Some prizes may be withheld under rule 76.6
 
2.   If any person lodges an objection, such an objection should be made in writing, and a £100 deposit paid to the Secretary within half an hour of the event. The deposit will be refunded if the objection is sustained.
 
3.   No official on the day of the show accepts responsibility for any loss of or damage to property belonging to competitors, their servants or spectators.
 
4. Health & Safety – Reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure the health and safety of persons present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. A qualified Paramedic together with First Aiders will be present at this event and the First Aid post is the Secretary’s office unless otherwise shown.
 
5.   Correct riding dress must be worn in the arena and correct standard safety hats must be worn, with chin straps securely fastened, whilst riding at the showground.
 
6.   A charge of £3 per rider per day will be made to help towards the cost of Paramedic Services.
 
7.   No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure the safety of other riders and members of the public at the showground.
 
8.   You must give correct British Showjumping registration & membership numbers with your entries in order for them to be accepted.
 
 
Anyone who does not have documents or does not know their numbers will have to purchase a ticket to ride.
