Leicestershire's Fahrran Griffiths achieves her NAF Horse 2* Award!
Wednesday 27 August 2014
Congratulations to Leicestershire's Fahrran Griffiths who is storming through her NAF 5* Awards! Fahrran has recently achieved her NAF Horse 2* award and is already progressing quickly through the 3* with UKCC Level 3 coach John Steels.
Fahrran moved on to horses in June 2013 and has been juggling her riding with GCSEs and studying Level 3 Equine Business Management at Brooksby Agricultural College.
Fahrran's Mum (Julie) said:
'She enjoys the coaching with John (Steels) as he has helped her ride forwards, her ponies were much more forward going than the horse and she was having difficulties seeing her strides. They have worked on shortening and lengthening strides inbetween fences and different approaches. We like the academy sessions as they offer value for money and working through the NAF 5* awards give a sense of achievement and encourages progression'.
Fahrran (who is determined to pursue a career within the showjumping industry) has also started shaddowing Beau Wood as she is keen to become a course designer in the future.
