Leicestershire academy training 13 Feb!

A huge thank you goes to Di Lampard, Sarah from Baileys Horse Feeds, Amanda Cornforth, Michael Jones, Julie Griffiths and Nina Harrison-Guess for making yesterdays academy training at Vale View EC such a success!
A record number of riders came along to enjoy ridden sessions with Di Lampard in which they focussed on straightness, counting strides and trying not to run Michael over! Many of the riders also stayed behind to help pick up poles and listen to the following sessions.
Baileys Horse Feeds kindly did sessions looking at the size of the horses stomach and the different types of feeds and feeding routines.
Amanda Cornforth looked at bits (some of which had kindly been lent to us by Bit World) and riders were asked to put their bits in order of severity. A fun day and great to see some new faces! Details of academy training in March will be released shortly!
