Inter-Academy Team Competition

Well done to everyone who has taken part in the Inter-academy team competition at Weston Lawns over the last couple of days! It has been a great competition and I think that everyone has enjoyed themselves! Thanks you to the organisers and also to the Area Reps and Academy Co-ordinaters who put the teams together!

A special mention goes to the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire academy team (Saffy Leech, Rebecca Green, Emily Blakemore and Henry Truelove - pictured) who were placed 5th in the 90cm class. A fantastic achievement - well done!

Leicestershire also had a sucessful day with the Leicestershire Tigers Team finishing in 4th place in the 90cm class and Amy Cornforth finishing in individual 3rd place and Annabel Goldie finishing in individual 6th place! The Leicestershire Horse Team came 2nd with Kieron Leonard also winning individual silver! Leicestershire academy also ran a couple of their own awards during the competition with 'man of the match' going to Joe Cunningham and 'players player' going to Amy Cornforth.

Northants/Cambs rider, Peggy Baker also came individual 4th! The Northants/Cambs teams win the award for the best t-shirts and the loudest cheering!
