Northamptonshire funded course
Northamptonshire county sports partnership has very kindly agreed to part fund a project called ‘get sporty’. The course is aimed at women over the age of 25 years who ride or who have ridden and are interested in getting back into the sport or just learning more about showjumping! The course will be held at Goggs Farm, Northamptonshire by kind permission of Alison Tee and the proposed timetable is as follows:
23 February - Competition/Riding nerves
Session with sports psychologist, Nichola Kentzer, looking at riders nerves and techniques to overcome them! Nichola is also available to come and help with the practical riding session on the 8 March if you would like!

28 February – Rider Physio
Chartered physio, Ceri Graham will be looking at rider fitness, balance and simple exercises to help your riding skills.

8 March – Riding session
An opportunity to bring your own horse and have a training session with accredited coach, Mia Korenika. All levels of rider will be catered for or you can come and watch Mia coaching a more advanced rider if you would prefer!

15 March - Course building and course walking
Advanced course builder and judge, Beau Wood will help you gain an understanding of the skills involved with designing a course, how distances between fences are calculated and how to walk a course.

If you are interested in taking part in this course please contact me as soon as possible as spaces are available on a first come first served basis. Please note that you must be a resident in Northamptonshire in order to apply.
The subsidised cost for this course is £15 per session or £50 for the whole course. This is a great opportunity to get involved with showjumping and to meet others in your area!

If British Showjumping cancel the training session a full refund (minus a £2 administration fee per participant) will be given or an alternative will be offered. In the event of cancellation British Showjumping is not responsible for any damages, costs or losses incurred by participants whether arising directly or indirectly from cancellation, including, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing: stabling fees, non-refundable airfares, other airfare penalties, or travel charges that might be incurred.
No refunds will be given to those who do not attend the training session. Substitutions will be accepted at no extra charge. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing (by e-mail, post or fax).
