Tuesday 24 March 2015
The British Showjumping National Championships are thrilled to announce that international showjumper, Tim Stockdale, will be the Shows ambassador for 2015.
Throughout his impressive career, spanning over 30 years, Tim has been an integral part of the showjumping community. During this time he has demonstrated his dedication to the profile and development of showjumping by working with various media channels to raise awareness and encourage new members to partake in the sport.
Tim’s role as ambassador will involve not only a ceremonial title but will also entail active engagement with the show organisers. Tim has already visited the host venue, the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, to view the facilities and give feedback on the plans for the Championships.
Tim says “I am excited to be involved with the British Showjumping National Championships and to be selected as the ambassador. I am looking forward to attending the event in August and believe it will be a great showcase for the sport.”
Helena Pettit, managing director of Grandstand Media Ltd. says “We are very excited to have Tim Stockdale as the ambassador for the British Showjumping National Championships. Tim brings with him a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the sport and we are thrilled to be working with him on this prestigious Show.”
This exciting news comes after the unveiling of the new platforms for the British Showjumping National Championships. The Show has a new look, venue, website and social media platforms. With the addition of the Stoneleigh Horse Show the event is shaping up to make an impressive debut in its first year at the NAEC, Stoneleigh Park.
All British Showjumping National Championships and Stoneleigh Horse Show platforms are now live.
