Tabitha Kyle wins Children’s Grand Prix in Lamprechtshausen

It was an outstanding win by Leicestershire based Tabitha Kyle, aged 11, in the Children’s Grand Prix at Lamprechtshausen in Austria this morning on the 9 year-old Grennanstown Sarco Lux Hill owned by Holly Smith.

Just short of sixty starters had come forward to contest the title with almost a quarter of them jumping clear to qualify for their place in the second round jump off. There were none however that even came close to Tabitha when she posted a clear in a time of 36.55 seconds making her the only rider to break the 38 second barrier and one of only three riders to achieve a penalty free round.

Tiara Bleicher (GER) took 2nd place with Cristallo Boy with their clear in a time of 40.27 seconds whilst Morgana Santini (ITA) took 3rd with Gogo F, clear in a time of 41.20 seconds.

This win followed her double clear performance in the Children’s Nations Cup yesterday where, riding under the sponsor banner of Team NAF, the British team secured 2nd position on the podium.
