Regional Development Officer – Wales & West Midlands

British Showjumping are pleased to announce that Paul Nicholson has been appointed in the role of Regional Development Officer for the Wales & West Midlands region and will be actively working within this role from Tuesday, 15th April 2014.
Paul has a solid understanding of sporting structure within Great Britain having worked with many of the country’s governance organisations including Sport England and Sport & Recreation Alliance. His career has spanned the working in direct contact with sportsmen and women and strategically developing structures that will meet their needs and objectives through to focusing on delivering the commercial needs for sporting national governing bodies.
On his appointment, Paul commented “Having worked specifically within the sporting sector and also having owned horses most of my life, I am absolutely delighted to be joining British Showjumping where I can now combine both of my key interests. I now look forward to understanding the current structure within the sport and then meeting as many of the stakeholders within Wales and West Midlands as I can with a view to developing the sport to the very best of my ability”.
