NAF SET TO SPONSOR GREAT BRITAIN'S NATIONS CUP TEAMS FOR A FURTHER TWO YEARS

Following a successful first year of alignment, British Showjumping is delighted to announce that NAF will be continuing with their headline sponsorship of the British Showjumping Senior Nations Cup teams and Children, Junior and Young Rider teams for a further two years.

The Senior Nations Cup teams and the Children, Junior and Young Rider teams will continue to compete under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF throughout 2018 and 2019. At last year’s Children, Junior and Young Rider FEI European Championships in Samorin, Slovakia, Team NAF brought home a medal haul of two Team Golds, one Team Silver, one Individual Silver and two Individual Bronzes.

Lorna George, UK Sales & Business Development Manager for NAF said “After a successful first year of sponsorship we are delighted to continue this partnership with British Showjumping and the Nations Cup teams. We have achieved our goal of getting back into the first division and with exciting combinations coming through the junior and young rider teams, the future of the sport is bright. With WEG and Tokyo on the horizon we look forward to continuing our support to deliver five star performances worldwide.”

Maria Haig, Head of Communications for British Showjumping commented “Our partnership with NAF has gone from strength to strength during the time that we have been working together and with this in mind we are delighted to be announcing the renewal of their title sponsorship. Their commitment to the sport is second-to-none from assisting with our international campaign to supporting our grassroots training programmes and awards structure.”

Di Lampard, Performance Manager for Showjumping added “It goes without saying that NAF’s support greatly assists with the delivery of our own international objectives. But it also goes further than that by giving the teams cohesion and inspiring those competing on youth teams who are hoping to come up through the levels into the senior team environment by carrying the same branding. Their professional approach in terms of also developing a partnership from which our team riders can benefit is also extremely valuable and we have already seen many use their advice, guidance and knowledge.”

NAF’s premium range of Five Star brands include Superflex, Superflex Senior, PROFEET, Optimum, Magic, Oestress and Respirator Boost with quality at the heart of everything they do. They are a UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme), GMP+ (International Feed Assurance Scheme) and BETA NOPS (Naturally Occuring Prohibited Substances) accredited company and this enables them to guarantee full traceability on all the natural ingredients they utilise in their formulations, which are also selected in compliance with the FEI guidelines for Clean Sport. For further information, visit www.naf-equine.eu/uk/index.jsp.

Under the ‘Team NAF’ banner, the Senior Nations Cup Teams will compete at a number of Nations Cup events whilst the Children, Junior and Young Rider teams will make appearances across Europe at Nations Cup Level before heading to their European Championships in Fontainebleau, France in July.

The GBR showjumping teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage.
