It was a hard fought CSI2* Grand Prix that took place in Kronenberg, The Netherlands this afternoon which saw fifty-two combinations  come forward to tackle the 1.45m course designed by Henk Linders.

Michael Jung proved the eventual winner with the 9 year-old mare Fischersolution when he posted a double clear in a time of 36.28 seconds. Louise Saywell, who was hot on their heels with the 10 year-old grey mare Ushuaia d’Aurel, owned by ST Stables, posted a double clear in a jump-off round time of 38.06 seconds to slot in behind them into 2nd place.

A total of eleven combinations delivered a first round clear to qualify for the jump off but it was only five of them that managed to finish on zero penalties overall after the second round.  Lars Bak Anderson (DEN) had to satisfy himself with 3rd place on the 14 year-old chestnut gelding Arcado L with their time of 38.91 seconds.  Evi Bengtsson (GER) and Anne-Marie Poels (NED), the remaining two riders who achieved the ultimate of a double clear took 4th and 5th place respectively.
