Keith Shore & Mystic Hurricane finish third in Ebreichsdorf Grand Prix
Monday 27 April 2015
Yesterday (Sunday 26th April) saw Cheshire based Keith Shore partnering his own 12 year-old bay gelding Mystic Hurricane finish in the top three of the 1.50m CSI 3* Grand Prix held in Austria.
From the fifty competitors coming forward it was a dozen that jumped clear in the first round. A further five clears in the jump off, all stopping the clock within the 43 second barrier resulted in an incredibly tight decider being played out for those watching from the sidelines.
It was Germany’s Manfred Ege with Utopia 48 that took 1st place with Romania’s Andy Candin and Caruso 394 taking 2nd. Keith and Mystic Hurricane produced their double clear in 39.75 seconds to slot behind them in 3rd position just ahead of Polish rider Msciwoj Kiecon and Urbane.
