Fife’s Shaunie Greig dominates both Charles Britton Equestrian Construction Winter JA Classic qualifiers at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre

Monday 29 January 2018

The 2018 Charles Britton Equestrian Construction Winter JA Classic series continued over the weekend at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire during their 148cm Pony Premier Show.

All riders were focused on securing the sought after top three qualifying places for the prestigious Charles Britton Equestrian Construction Winter JA Classic Championship, which will be held during the British Masters International Horse Show at SouthView Equestrian Centre (29th June – 1st July 2018).

Fourteen year-old Shaunie Greig from Dunfermline, Fife was on amazing form dominating both qualifiers. Shaunie took control of Saturday’s qualifier on board the 15 year-old dun mare Destavelars Misty before also leading the way in Sunday's qualifier with 15 year-old bay gelding Casino Royale VIII, both of which are owned by Anne Greig. The qualifiers were well supported with around thirty contesting each class across the weekend. Delivering highly competitive treble clears on both days led to an incredibly successful weekend for her with just four treble clears achieved by the entire field on the first day and two on the second making her double victory all the more impressive.
