Exciting Under 23 final set for Olympia 2014

British Showjumping have confirmed the twenty-four combinations set to line-up for a thrilling finale, as the 2014 Dodson & Horrell and the World Class Programme U23 British Championships draw to a close at The London International Horse Show, Olympia on Saturday 20 December 2014.

In alphabetical order, the combinations set to compete at the 2014 Final are:

World Class Showjumping Performance Manager, Rob Hoekstra, commented; “I’m really looking forward to seeing the competition and being able to watch the talent and future of the sport. It’s always a very good mark of where we’re heading with Young Rider and Nations Cup’s teams and it’s a fantastic opportunity for younger riders to compete amongst the best of the world at Olympia.”

There is a total prize fund of £15,300 at the Final and Training Vouchers to the value of £2,900 awarded to the top eight prize-winning riders. There will also be up for grabs on the night a £1,500 bonus cash prize which will be equally split between riders who jump a clear round in both round one and round two. Only riders eligible to compete for Great Britain are able to contest the Final.

The Championships are supported by Europe’s leading specialist animal feed manufacturer and nutrition experts Dodson & Horrell and by the World Class Development Programme. The Development Programme is funded by National Lottery and Exchequer funds via UK Sport; the Programme seeks to identify and develop talented athletes who have shown the potential to reach the world stage.
