Six combinations produced a first round clear to go through to the jump off where the course saw faults accrued all over. Just two combinations were able to produce a second foot round to go home with a double and it was Amy Lawrence from Richmond, North Yorkshire who led the jump off from the start.

Amy rode her own 12 year-old chestnut mare Top Less and they were the only combination to break the 40 seconds barrier with a double clear. They recorded a time of 39.63 seconds to take the top spot.

Seventeen year-old Estella Harrowing from Whitby, North Yorkshire finished in second place with her mother Wendy’s 8 year-old piebald gelding Dereks Choice. This pair provided their double clear in 53.43 seconds.

Third place went to 14 year-old Leah Harrison from Washington, Tyne and Wear and she was on board Janice Swailes’ 11 year-old bay mare Lux Jazzy. They picked up four faults at the midway point of the jump off, but crossed through the finish line in 38.83 seconds.
