Thirty-six starters in total came forward for this 0.95cm second round and the jump off was well fought out by the eighteen combinations who made it through after initially producing a first round clear. Ten double clears were eventually produced, putting the pressure on the remaining combinations who were all hoping to secure their place in the Championship Final.

Gemma Dickens, 33, from Loughborough, Leicestershire delivered the fastest quickest double clear of the class on board Oakleys Ace, a 23 year-old bay gelding owned by Lesley Dickens. The combination set the pace early on in the jump off after being drawn seventh to go and their double clear in 42.69 seconds proved to be unassailable.

Second place was taken by 18 year-old Holly Jones from Pershore, Worcestershire on her own 9 year-old bay mare Lexus V. A quick, foot perfect round from this combination saw them finish with no faults to add in 44.45 seconds.

Third place went to 56 year-old Michelle Fox from Hope Valley, Derbyshire and she rode her own 10 year-old chestnut gelding, Spot On Jacko. This combination took their place in the top three after delivering their double clear in 45.08 seconds.

A further nine riders also achieved their qualification for the Dodson & Horrell 0.85cm National Amateur Championship Final.
