Dodson & Horrell 0.95cm National Amateur Second Round.
This second round attracted thirty-five starters and impressively, twenty combinations produced a first round clear to continue to the jump off. In a competitive jump off, seven combinations then went on to secure a double clear.

The top spot was taken by 44 year-old Angela Mills from Haswell, County Durham on board her own 10 year-old bay gelding Quids In II. Ninth to go in the jump off, they had seen only two previous combinations pick up a double clear. They knew that a quick, foot perfect round would put them in contention of being in the top three. They went onto produce their double clear in a time of 36.82 seconds and this was to prove unbeatable.

Rachael Evison, 43, from Goole, East Yorkshire took second place on her own 8 year-old grey mare Scylla D Ouilly. Rachael and her ride produced their double clear in 37.14 seconds.

Third place went to Anita Leadbetter, 41, from Darlington, County Durham with her own 10 year-old dark bay gelding Taxing Times. This combination crossed the finish line in 38.68 seconds to secure not only a place in the top three but also their place in the Championship Final.

Nine further riders also achieved their qualification for the Dodson & Horrell 0.95cm National Amateur Championship Final.
