Guy Robert Williams

Guy Williams has been voted British Showjumping’s Owner of the Month for December. The award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top showjumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Guy is the proud owner of the Belgian bred fourteen-year-old bay gelding, Torinto van de Middelstede, who took victory in the Grand Prix in Mechelen, Belgium.

Beatrice Mertens

Beatrice Mertens has been voted British Showjumping’s Owner of the Month for November. The award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top showjumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Beatrice is the proud owner of the Belgian bred nine-year-old dark bay gelding, Amai II, who took victory in the FEI World Cup Qualifier in Verona, Italy.

Old Lodge has been voted British Showjumping’s Owner of the Month for October. The award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top showjumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Old Lodge are the proud owner’s of the British bred seven-year-old grey gelding, Sultan V by Irco Mena, and the seven year-old dark bay stallion Super Trooper de Ness by Vigo d’Arsouilles, who between them took victory in the Horse & Hound Foxhunter Final, The National Grade C Championship and the HOYS 7 & 8 Year Old Championship at the 2009 Horse of the Year Show.

Tracey Forrest from Ipswich, Suffolk has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for September. The award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Tracey is the proud owner of the eleven-year-old chestnut stallion, Romanov II by Heartbreaker, who partnered Phillip Spivey to victory in the BSJA/Easibed Elite National Final at the BSJA/Scope Festival of Showjumping, held at the Stafford County Showground.

August 2009 - Keeley Durham

Keeley Durham from Retford, Nottinghamshire has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for August. The award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Keeley is the proud owner of the seven-year-old bay stallion, Argento who partnered John Whitaker to victory in the Seven-Year-Old Championship at the British Young Horse Championships, ,held at Addington Manor EC. Argento by Arko III, was bred by Keeley and is a member of the World Class Show Jumping Equine Pathway, a programme aimed at identifying horses that have the potential to develop into medal winning horses. The Pathway is funded by UK Sport through the BEF World Class Programme.

Robert Kirk

Robert Kirk from West Lothian has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for July. The new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Robert is the proud owner of the thirteen-year-old bay gelding, Wexford who partnered Robert’s daughter, Jemma to win the Individual Gold Medal at the 2009 FEI Young Rider European Championships, held in Hoofdoorp, The Netherlands.

June 2009 - Julie Slade

Julie Slade from Westerham, Kent has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for June. The new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Julie is the proud owner of the fifteen-year-old bay gelding, Mondriaan. The Dutch bred gelding by Topas, kept the packed Hickstead crowds on the edge of their seats and jumped the sole clear round of the competition to secure his third Hickstead Derby victory, partnered by William Funnell.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce that the June Owner of the Month Award goes to Julie Slade. Julie’s horse Mondriaan was victorious in the Hickstead Derby, a title he has now won for the third time. Winning one of the worlds most famous competitions once is a huge achievement, but winning it for a third time is outstanding and certainly marks Mondriaan’s place in the show jumping history books.  My congratulations go to Julie and her team on their recent success.”


May 2009 - Rebecca Stones

Rebecca Frances Stones

Rebecca Stones has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for May. The new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Rebecca is the proud owner of the twelve-year-old bay stallion, Peppermill. The Dutch bred stallion by Burggraaf, was victorious in the 285,000€ Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain and then followed this with a double clear round in the Meydan FEI Nations Cup in Rome.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce that the May Owner of the Month Award goes to Rebecca Stones. Rebecca’s horse Peppermill was victorious with John Whitaker, in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Valencia winning 95,000€. He then jumped two foot perfect clears in the Meydan FEI Nations Cup in Rome. Accomplishing one of these results is a fantastic achievement, but laying claim to both in a matter of a few weeks, is amazing. My congratulations go to Rebecca and her team on their recent success.”


April 2009 - Stanley Brash

Stanley Dawson Brash

Stanley Brash from Peebles in Scotland has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for April.
 
The new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Stanley is the proud owner of the ten-year-old black gelding Intertoy Z. The Belgian bred gelding by Interadel Z, won not just one, but two Grand Prix’s at the Vilamoura Equestrian Tour in April, winning over £12,500.

March 2009 - Patricia Fraser

Patricia Lydia Fraser

Patricia Fraser from Crewe in Cheshire has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for March.
 
The new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Patricia is the proud owner of the eleven-year-old bay gelding Rosinus. The Dutch bred gelding by Lancelot, took victory in the 20,000€ Vilamoura Grand Prix in Portugal at the end of March, jumping the fastest double clear of the competition.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce that the March Owner of the Month Award goes to Patricia Fraser. Patricia is the owner of several top international horses who have all recently enjoyed tremendous success on the international stage. Rosinus produced a superb double clear round to win the Grand Prix in Vilamoura and my congratulations go to Patricia and her team for their fantastic victory.”


February 2009 - JOHN BOSHER

JOHN BOSHER

John Bosher from Brackley in Northants has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for February.
 
The new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, runs alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
John Bosher is the proud owner of the twelve-year-old grey mare Fresh Direct Corlato. The German bred Holsteiner by Corrado I, took home the 13,000€ winners purse in the Vigo Grand Prix in Spain at the beginning of February, producing the fastest double clear of the competition.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce that February’s Owner of the Month Award goes to John Bosher. John is a stalwart supporter of British Show Jumping and has owned several horses that have represented their country at the very highest level, most recently the 2008 Olympic Games. My congratulations go to John and his team for their fantastic Grand Prix win in Vigo.”


January 2009 - Sandra Cordiner

Sandra Lynn Cordiner

Sandra Cordiner from Peterhead in Aberdeenshire has been voted BSJA Owner of the Month for January.
 
The brand new award, aimed at giving recognition to the owners of some of Britain’s top show jumping horses, will run alongside the already established Show Jumper of the Month Award.
 
Sandra Cordiner is the proud owner of the twelve year-old black stallion Pall Mall H. The Dutch bred stallion by Galoubet A, beat a world class field to take victory in the $50,000 Equisport Agency Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival held in Wellington, Florida at the end of January.

“The Owner of the Month Award will hopefully bring our owners to the forefront of our sport and give them some recognition for the investment that they make not only into their riders, but also to the British Team and our sport as a whole. We have a number of initiatives on the drawing board at the moment that hopefully will greatly benefit our existing owners and will also incentivise and help to identify and introduce new owners to our sport.”
 
“I am delighted to announce that January’s Owner of the Month Award goes to Sandra Cordiner. Sandra is a long-time supporter of British Show Jumping and has owned Pall Mall H from the outset of his career as a four year-old. My congratulations go to her and her team for their superb victory in Wellington recently”.

Sandra received her Award from BSJA Chairman Michael Mac and BSJA Chief Executive Diana Cornish, at the BSJA Scotland AGM on Thursday 5th March 2009.
