Tretorn Junior & Young Rider plus Children Squad for the European Championships are announced!

Next week will see riders from across the world travel out to Comporta in Portugal to compete in the 2011 Children, Junior and Young Rider European Championships. The show will take place between 4th – 10th July and will see both horse and rider tested to the maximum as they try and negotiate the tricky courses put in front of them, all hoping to bring home a medal for their country.
 
The Tretorn Junior European Squad is:
  • 16 year old Chloe Aston from Tring and Joanne Aston’s 9 year old  bay gelding Kolibri Classic.
  • 17 year old Jessie Dimmock from Northampton and Jackie Dimmock’s 9 year old grey gelding Capello II
  • 16 year old Abigail Newbery from Southampton and Sharifa Al-Homaizi and Tony Newbery’s 9 year old grey gelding Valentino VII.
  • 18 year old Yazmin Pinchen from Crawley and Nancy Pinchen’s 8 year old liver chestnut stallion Van de Vivaldi.
  • 18 year old Spencer Roe from Lincoln and Sally Roe’s 8 year old bay gelding Wonder Why.
 
The Tretorn Young Rider European Squad is:
  • 21 year old Joe Clayton from Huddersfield and his own 12 year old bay gelding Saveur.
  • 19 year old Lucy Guild from Fraserburgh and her own 11 year old dark bay gelding Titi D’Oase.
  • 21 year old Dan Neilson from Brentwood and Celia Mason’s 9 year old chestnut gelding Chauvinist.
  • 20 year old Jason Smith from Kilmarnock and Anne Smith’s 14 year old bay gelding Rival 14.
  • 19 year old George Whitaker from Huddersfield and Sally McSharry’s 11 year old chestnut mare Tubana.
 
The Children European Squad is:
  • 13 year old Millie Allen from Stockton-on-Tees and Rachel Steels 11 year old bay mare Trueleva.
  • 13 year old Kerstin Deakin from Tyne & Wear and Felicity Deakin’s 12 year old bay mare Sunsolde.
  • 12 year old Ella Popely from Haywards Heath and Sandra Pavitt’s 11 year old bay mare Amaryllis Van De Heffink.
  • 12 year old Emily Ward from Neston and Michael Whitaker and Nick Ward’s 8 year old dark brown mare Witch.
  • 14 year old Charlotte Smet from Belgium and Fiona Johnstone’s 8 year old grey mare Wietske II.
