THREE MORE JWI WINTER JA CLASSIC QUALIFIERS AT TOWERLANDS PARK

13 year old Amy Inglis from Haywards Heath, West Sussex won the second John Whitaker International Winter JA Classic qualifier of the weekend at Towerlands Park on Sunday 7th March 2010 riding Nils d’Hurl Vent, as this combination had already qualified at the Hand Equestrian Centre. The first qualifying place went to second placed Rosie Gunn.
14 year old Rosie from Nottingham riding the eleven year old chestnut mare Double Time finished second with four faults in the final jump off in 34.75 seconds. From the second qualifier 15 year old Sally Hopkinson from Pontefract, West Yorkshire riding her fathers 11 year old chestnut gelding Cevin III who finished third again with four faults in the third round in 38.99 seconds. Fourth placed Lauren Edwards and Floating Change another combination who had previously qualified finished on 8 faults in 32.92 seconds. The final qualifying place went to fifth placed Christina Harkin aged 14 from Nottingham riding Forthview Master a 10 year old bay gelding who finished on four faults in the first jump off in 37.59 seconds.
