TEAM OF THREE WIN THROUGH TO THE BRITISH OPEN FROM ROWALLAN ACTIVITY CENTRE

Three young riders have qualified as a team for the British Showjumping Pony Club/Riding Club competition at the 2010 British Open Showjumping Championships in April 2010. The team who qualified at Rowallan Activity Centre will be allocated their own top international show jumper to act as their team coach and Chef d’Equipe on arrival at the show.
The 128cm qualifier who won his class was 7 year old Sandy McLean from Lasswade, Midlothian riding
Madonna a 7 year old black mare to a convincing victory clear in 27.05 seconds.
The 138cm qualifier was 13 year old Kerstin Deakin from Newcastle-upon-Tyne riding The Agent a 17 year old grey JA gelding winning with a clear in 30.60 seconds.
The final team member is 14 year old Isla Mowat from Edinburgh riding an 11 year old bay mare Irish Double Cream to a convincing victory in 36.12 seconds in the 148cm class.
This exciting new competition is for new members of British Showjumping who have joined since the 1st January 2008 and existing members of British Riding Clubs or the Pony Club who must become members of British Showjumping to be eligible to compete.
